Vitalics

This was a branding and packaging project. The product was a pet food aimed at the specialist pet food market.

The strategy for this brand was to identify various pet nutritional needs with a range of recipes created to meet these various needs.

The name Vitalics is associated with vitality, and also to be vital. Vitality is synonymous with health and happiness, both are attributes that a pet owner wishes for their loved ones. Vital confirms to the purchaser that this is a necessary product. This has been reinforced visually through the use of a large green tick.

The strong contrasting diagonals of the background convey the value that this product provides, energy whilst creating a strong presence in a consumer environment. This energetic feeling has further been enhanced with the use of a golden silhouettes radiating energy and positioned in a run or jump pose.

The specific recipe of this product has been presented in a number format and in a specific colour. This creates an efficient system for quick identification. This large format classification is styled in a similar fashion to cosmetics to align itself with similar values.
